As someone who has been studying for a long time. There is a lot to take from this app. I have realized lately that vocab constantly slips my mind and this app helps me to remember all the basic words I tend to lose. Im happy with the purchase and want to say its as good as you make it.

The app, combined with JapanesePod101, really help solidify learning Japanese. I can say the purchase prices is nothing compared to the benefits.

Its pretty good. I put 3 stars because it bothers me that on some, they would put the kanji and no kana. The word of the day doesnt seem to change on mine, so 3!

Effective in helping me study and retain basic Japanese vocabulary. One word a day, pictures and audio well done.

Great app! Really helps to improve your Japanese vocabulary. Sample sentences are wonderful to see the word used in context.

Its easy to use and remember each word when you learn one new word a day!

I havent officially started using it yet, but I already dabbled around and love how many words you can learn, they even have verbs so Im super happy!! Using this will help me expand my word variety!! ありがとうございます！

Ive had this app for a long time. What I love most about is how it allows me to learn a word a day, which enables me to expand my Japanese vocabulary. My only gripe is with the flash cards and kanji. I wish that I could toggle the kanji off for studying flash cards, as I havent completed katakana and hiragana yet. Other than that, this is a very, very useful app.

New user. Seems like a great app, except that the voice recorder keeps freezing. Only remedy is to close app, then re-open. A pain in the neck. [iPad 8.1] Otherwise would have given (a tentative) five stars.

Great combination of all the pieces you need to learn Japanese. They link to free lessons, include the various levels of Japanese "alphabet" per flash card, with romanized pronunciation, includes flash card study, audio, and the awesome recorder for testing your pronunciation.

Of all the apps that innovative offers, this one is by far the best and is probably the only one worth the money. Very happy with my purchase!

I bought this app and I was expecting to be able to use it to help review the vocab that I learn in their innovative language app. So I study a lesson in that other app and they introduce some new vocab. Then, I come back to this app and try to add that new word to my list, but often that vocab doesnt exist here. However, it does exist on the website. So I have to go to the web interface to study the vocab I want. For me, there isnt much point to this app. Feels like kind of a waste of money to me since I already have the online subscription. Was hoping to find a way to actually be able to use the flashcards (web interface doesnt work on the train, so its basically useless to me). I like the content of JP101, but they really need to get their apps streamlined and working well together. Ideally they would just allow you to access the online flashcards from the other app. So just one app that includes the lessons and the flashcards. Until then, 1 star.

I really enjoy this app. It is an especially useful addition to my other sources of learning Japanese. I look forward to the word it the day each morning as well as, being able to refer to its many different categories of information. Great app! BC
