Decent app!

Ok - so I blasted the free app and then went ahead and bought this one anyway!(I know, what a hypocrite!)But this app IS decent and useful. Layout is easy to navigate and the program doesnt have any gliches.

If you are just starting to learn Japanese then its great- because you can see the words then hear, then practice. However if you are intermediate - advanced dont waste your money.

Sound quality is poor - and there is only a female voice. For those of you that live in Japan, youll know that men and women speak and pronounce words very differently.

Overall 3 stars - decent but limited, over-priced and vocabulary choice is a little odd. Do I really need to know how to say/recognize obsolete words?

I am looking forward to some updates and have been enjoying the review this program has provided.
